FR3 modeling defines representations of radio channels, propagation conditions, antennas, environments, geometry, mobility, blockage, and system parameters for upper-mid-band engineering analysis. A model is an abstraction whose usefulness depends on its scope, assumptions, calibration, version, and intended application.
Why it matters: Simulation, ray tracing, emulation, and performance assessment can produce misleading conclusions when underlying assumptions are implicit or inconsistent. Governed modeling makes those assumptions visible, comparable, versioned, and reviewable.
